The Chicago Avenue corridor is home to many historical properties. BLA designed the mile-long resurfacing which also included more than 60 ADA ramps, parking bump-outs and drainage swales. BLA worked with the Village extensively to enhance curb returns with BMP rain garden features to provide a streetscape element to the design.
