Phase II Engineering

BLA is providing Phase II engineering services for the replacement of the 18-span Kirk Road bridge and three single-span bridges over the UPRR, Reed Road and White’s Creek in addition to eight mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls. The new roadway section is being widened from two lanes in each direction to three with a protected shared-use path on the west side; work also includes improvements to adjacent Northwestern Medicine Field, home of the Kane County Cougars.
