Village of Palatine
$2 million
The Winston Park subdivision was built in the 1950s and is comprised of many raised-ranch style homes. This subdivision was experiencing significant flooding, so the Village retained BLA to study the area and design a solution. BLA designed new overflow points to keep the overland flow in the streets. This project included modeling the existing storm sewer, hydraulic studies, public hearings, resident meetings, engineering plans, bid documents, pavement design, roadway geometry, storm sewer design and construction oversight for the first phase of the three-year construction.
