This busy, high-accident, arterial intersection was widened and resurfaced to enhance safety and intersection operations as well as provide better pedestrian and transit connectivity.  Each quadrant housed commercial businesses and retailers – one quadrant included Gurnee Mills shopping center.  Work included public relations, widening, resurfacing, lighting, traffic signals and sidewalk.
