The original 30-degree-angled, high-accident intersection surrounded by environmentally sensitive areas and within Griswold Lake floodplain was reconstructed into a three-legged, multi-lane roundabout.  One of the most challenging projects BLA has ever undertaken required several years of hydraulic and hydrologic studies, environmental studies, public outreach, land acquisition and design modifications before the project was ready for construction.
